Let's talk about the European heritage behind what today we call "Halloween".

Starting 21st of September — the day of autumn equinox — we're in the dark half of the year, the "year's night", if you will.
The days get shorter and more gloomy. The further up north we look, the taller the shadows grow, until there is only darkness — penetrated by the iridescent glow of the Aurora.

This is the time during which the peoples of the northern hemisphere traditionally turn to their Inner Being. Mundane life quietens down and nature's mysticism begins to slowly waft through the air like fragrant smoke rising from the ashes of worldly existence.

Does autumn not have this unique sense of bitter-sweetness, both metaphorically and literally? Fruity and earthy, airy and heavy, refreshing and rotting. I'm sure you can come up with more pairs like these.

Winter is the Summer of the soul.

As we turn inward and remember that all things must pass, we get in touch with our subconscious mind, the part of the spirit realm that shelters our Selves.

By October 31st, the days are noticably getting more and more dusky. The darkening of the days is accelerating. The harvest has been gathered, animals have been brought to their stables and some will be butchered for the cold season to come. A season is ending.

Tonight, the gates to the Otherworld, the world of spirits, open.
The membrane separating the mundane and the mystical world becomes thin and permeable.

It is All Hallows' Eve, leading up to All Hallows' Day, or All Saints' Day.
Depending on the local custom, ritual offerings and rites to contact ethereal beings continue for a week or longer.

During this time, we welcome the spirits of the saints and demons, of our dead, of the animals; the spirits in the higher and lower realms, named and unnamed.

They will be our guests during the year's night.
Make offerings to ask for their goodwill:

Incense or a pleasant fragrance to call them.
Water so that they may quench their thirst for liberation.
Water so that they may purify themselves from negative influences.
Candlelight to illuminate their way.
Something precious and beautiful, that they may adorn themselves with its energy.
Food to strengthen them for their path to come.

Ring a bell to release those still suffering — may its bright and clear sound dissolve all their hindraces.

Are you scheming yet?

The moment you are no longer emotionally and psychologically affected by your enemy's tactics, you become a sovereign being.

You cease to look at things through a veil. Your eyes are your own, your mind is your own. No longer a puppet, your actions are your own.

All warfare is based on deception. Dance to no one's strings. Take no one's bait. See things for what they are.

The fool mistakes impulsiveness for heroism. Develop cunning, become calculating, adopt a calm mind. Learn patience.

Sovereignty is power.

Document your dreams, friends.

However cryptic they may seem, carry their memory with you for long enough and they will become the key to understanding many things.

Document them in all the detail you can. Write thorough denoscriptions of everything you remember. Draw your visions, even if your sketch turns out a mere shadow of what you saw and experienced. Learn about symbology and practice interpreting and contextualizing your dreams regularly. This will help you recall them vividly later on.

Some dreams are mundane, some silly, some disgusting, some unpleasant, even frightful, some deeply beautiful and touching. Do not judge their quality by their appearance.

Imagine having an extra secret experience database that very potently serves to refine your personality.

With reasonable attention to the dream world, visualisation powers and arcane wisdom increase. The skill of using and explaining metaphor evolves.
Subtler symbols and patterns will appear more strikingly to your ethereally sharpened eye.

Too many people fall into an either/or mindset. This happens with essentially everything you can think of - people latch onto a particular way to go about things and reject everything else. Why?

The way forward will be multi-pronged. We are a diverse people with many talents and dispositions, and reality itself is multilayered and complex. Obviously the answer will be to encourage different people to move forward in whatever way most suits their particularities.

The main point is that we share a vision and work towards superordinate goals. There are many paths to the top of the mountain.

A particular example of this is the parallel society vs infiltration dichotomy. There is no reason these approaches should be at odds with each other as there are good arguments for each and it's really an illusion that one necessarily has to choose one over the other.

I'm not saying people should stop arguing for what they think is better because that's how you refine ideas, but it's always good to develop the most sophisticated understanding that you can and this invariably includes nuance.

Instead of looking for the best objective path forward for everyone (doesn't exist), look for what path is best in relation to a person's unique circumstances and disposition.

When you look at a map, the destination is not the only factor that determines your direction - current location + destination will be what determines this.

Refine your view and learn to be a leader. Develop the ability to analyze what's best for the circumstances and encourage others on a case by case basis.

Broad strokes may be OK at a certain level, but if you want to paint something truly beautiful you'll need to be skilled with detail.
