The people mocking his code are a lot dumber than he is, sure its not amazing but you have all these non-programmers who watched videos from 'Coding Jesus' and others now acting all smug and superior thinking they know something. Anyone who actually programs knows half of 'Coding Jesus' suggestions were nitpicky bullshit, criticizing a solo dev personal project cos its not designed like a 'clean code' enterprise architecture shit from one of the far too many textbooks the guy has read, its obvious he doesn't actually program on real projects or he'd know 90% of them don't use half the shit he's going on about. And most of his changes would have the same or worse performance or add needless complexity, like he was actually complaining about not using a for loop to iterate over like 5 fucking items, which this is some noscripting language where I don't know if there is a compiler that will optimize away the loop either which makes the suggestion even dumber. But the non-programmers gobble it up and they like HAHHAHA PIRATE WORSE THAN AN INTERN HAHAHHA SO BAD CODE, fucking idiots.
