I hear a lot about furries who have been in the military. Are people who have been in the military more likely to be furries?


I would say escapism is a big reason for a lot of it. They are able to step away from harsh realities and deadlines and be a fuzzy animal with little to no cares for a little while. This is kinda important for anyone working in a high stress position. You tend to find a release or you break. The fandom is as vaild as any other release.
