Rightoids freaked out about one (1) statue glorifying an awful person being removed, killed people over it, flooded people who pointed out the racism with death threats insisted it was just "muh we are protecting history! honest!"
Now the federal government is explicitly demanding and sending agents to the world's best museums to censor mentions of slavery or anything else they believe isn't blind pro-american propaganda and the very same rightoids who cried about the statue are celebrating this.
