Previously the h-1B fee was <$5,000.
No hospital will pay a $100k fee for a $55k resident salary.
In 2016 there were 10,500 H1B holding physicians in the US (JAMA)
In the 2025 Match, 9,761 International Medical Graduates (IMGs) secured first-year residency positions in the U.S (NRMP)

Тишина, никто не встаёт.
— Ладно, буква "Б". Большевики, выходите!
Снова тишина.
— Хорошо, буква "В". Ватники, кто тут за "спецоперацию"?
Никто не шевелится.
Тут маленький мальчик поворачивается к отцу и шепчет:
— Папа, нас вроде 3 раза уже позвали, разве мы не русские, не за "спецоперацию", не ватники? Почему мы не выходим?
Отец отвечает:
