You should never stop appreciating just how genuinely kind and warm hearted the average EMS person is they spend every waking moment saving other peoples lives its genuinely one of the most brutally horrific jobs on the planet and it takes a herculean amount of effort to not get jaded by that shit, you just do not appreciate them enough no one does and its the kind of thing where sometimes a hug is actually warranted
