This guy is still in jail. I am not exaggerating at all when I say he is literally in jail for posting this picture alone. The criminal complaint and the sheriff of the police department explicitly state this. There are literally no other factors being considered as part of this. Just this image is what got him charged and held on a $2m bail.
In america you can literally be thrown in a cage and slandered as a terrorist for quoting something trump said in the past.
I have said for a decade (and others have been saying for far longer) that right-wingers don't actually care for free speech (it is, after all, antithetical to (almost) all ideologies they try and adhere to)
