Jacobin is now uncritically parroting the Iranian regime’s conspiracy theory that the United States and Israel are to blame for the “violence among the protests”.

I'm genuinely feeling betrayed by so many leftist outlets and orgs that I used to hold respect for.

It was ME who ganged up with others on basij volunteers to free protesters, it was ME who got fucking stripped and searched in the mahsa amini protests, it was ME who got beaten with batons by the riot police, I did NOT need a fucking Israeli provocateur to tell me to do ANY of this, neither did any of the other hundreds of thousands of people who marched alongside me.
