Even more embarrassing is the behaviour of the Iranian opposition abroad.

They haven't even taken control of the government and they're already trying to purge the opposition.

Many contemporary congregations of leftists are post-ethical, not leftist.

Actual left principles like:
Opposition to state terror
Workers’ autonomy
Feminist materialism
Anti-clericalism
Opposition to police states, including anti-Western ones

Still exist, they're just no longer dominant in the loudest rooms.

Generally this isn't how I behave, I would've shrugged everything off without a care like most other detached post-ironic shitposters online and never made myself this vulnerable.

The issue is that unlike most the people who laugh at me, I have genuine principles of justice that I deeply care about, I have a nation whose future I deeply care for.

I see a lot of you guys laughing or mocking me under the posts where I'm pouring my heart out, but you don't see me taking away the ability for you guys to express these things, that's because I have principles of free speech that I actually believe in even at my own expense.

No matter how much self-contempt or grief I feel. No matter how much I'll become alienated by these people, I will never abandon my principles of social justice, democratic pluralism or respect for human dignity.

I'm not going to move to the left, right or towards the centre, I'm moving downwards towards my core principles.

I refuse to engage in these sorts of identity-based moral markets by idpol wiggers of all colors within the political spectrum.
