دموکراسی بدون فرهنگ به یک دیکتاتوری ختم می‌شه. وقتی جامعه به‌جای «حق مشارکت» دنبال «نجات‌دهنده» می‌گرده، دموکراسی جواب نمی‌ده. برای بخش بزرگی از مردم که دنبال اقتدار، هویت تاریخی و دوری از آشوب سیاسی هستن، سلطنت ممکنه واقعاً بهترین گزینه به‌نظر برسه. درواقع با توجه به ساختار فرهنگی، مذهبی و تاریخی مردم ایران، دموکراسی در شرایط فعلی جواب‌گو نیست، چون مردم هنوز فرهنگ و بلوغ سیاسی لازم رو ندارن. در عوض، سلطنت‌طلبی اگر شاه نقش سمبلیک یا معتدل داشته باشه با ارزش‌های مردم سازگارتره و می‌تونه ثبات، هویت و انسجام ایجاد کنه. البته شرط موفقیتش هم حضور شاهی محدود به قانون و درکنارش ساختن نهادهای دموکراتیک هست.
