tonight i just realised garfield is basically kurt vonnegut's fursona.

first i thought damn these two look the same

then i dug deeper and saw it all

both have this cynical, absurd and weird ironic sense of humor and approach towards basically everything to shield against existential dread

also that chill, apathetic, anti heroesque attitude

the only difference may be that kurt got caught up with books and literature, and garfield with food and naps — which would even make sense, too
