The Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica, also known an the "Doomsday Glacier", is even closerer to collapsing now, but it's not humans fault. The Earth itself has decided to "self-global warm".
Geothermal temperatures are pushing this ice to melt and increase Earth's sea levels by over 2 feet. Just in time for the Arizona Audit results!

Protected Person Status
This was more difficult to understand until I turned it around to the situation in Afghanistan. Protected Persons [PP] are our American citizens (think enemy nationality) living in the territory of a belligerent State (Taliban > belligerents > belligerent occupation > Occupying Force)
