"3-mile territorial sea" but that is under the assumption of neutrality.

Military Occupation, aka WAR, makes it 12 miles per "sovereignty."

In a very short time, China and Joe Biden have announced Military Occupation indirectly. The Occupying Power's territory extends 12 miles over the Atlantic Ocean, which is why the Occupying Force (military) shot the balloon down that far out under the guise of "public safety."

China announced that "China always acts in strict accordance with international law and respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries." China, via Joe Biden infiltration and 2020 voter fraud inserting paid-for politicians, is the Occupying Power. They exercise some legal authority and sovereignty.
