PERSONAL STORY‼️

From my own experience, I found that the freedom to do what I wanted, when I wanted, meant absolutely nothing without being with the love of my life.

Between COVID and the stolen election, I fell into a deep depression, and for some reason I took all of life’s problems and all of my own problems, and thought that if I wasn’t stuck in my marriage and if I could just unburden myself, I would become the best version of myself.

The problem with that is that I was my problem, and deep down I knew it, but it’s always easier to place blame.

I left my wife and left a trail of destruction behind me and over the course of the next 7 months I spiraled further and further into a black hole.

The reason I spiraled further is because I missed my wife, and I was too stubborn to admit it.

The truth is, I was just depressed because of what had happened to our country and the world, and rather than try to work through it, I just ran.

For those 7 months I didn’t see or even speak to her. I wanted to but she was too hurt to be able to, which I understood.

Our paths did cross in person in that 7th month, and for me, a switch went off.

It was like seeing her for the first time all over again and I’ve been hooked again ever since.

Lucky for me, she never gave up on me because she was convinced I would find my way back home.

I wish more than anything that I never left and was able to figure things out without taking it to such an extreme.

I have tremendous guilt every single day for what I put her through that I feel sick, but I think that was just how it had to be.

I’ve always learned lessons the hard way.

It turned out my leaving her put me into my own prison, and I freed myself when I found my way back home to her.
