He was the editor of Der Stürmer, a newspaper known for its hostile antisemitism, and he was found to have incited the "annihilation of the Jewish race" through his writings.

The Precedent was set that journalists could be held criminally liable for propaganda that propagated exterminationist thinking.

Just imagine all of the horrific crimes that today’s journalists can be held liable for due to their propaganda.
