Unlike Bill, Bishop Barron, who does have real authority and is on the same commission, refused to condemn her when she reiterated Catholic teaching by quoting I Thess 2, where St. Paul claims that the Jews are the people who killed Christ and are enemies of the entire human race. Carrie also rightly asked the Jews on the committee to define anti-Semitism, which they defined by default as any speech Jews don't like.
