Many people claim to know God, but by their actions deny Him (God knows through my persecution I certainly moved closer and I realize I need to move even closer). Those (GOVT officials) who deny Him (the truth), they are despicable and unfit for anything that is good. However, even Peter denied Christ at a moment of necessary truth, but his immediate contrition and repentance rescued him from God’s wrath and forever secured his place as a leader in the early church. Actions have consequences! Those who continue to deny Him (the truth), you will exist in eternity feeling the wrath of God. Rise to the truth and stop hiding from it.
