👆🏻Notice that the position of being against abortion came from Pagans, not from Christianity. “Pro-Life” is even mentioned in the original Hippocratic Oath - which is PAGAN. Meanwhile the (((Bible))) celebrates killing babies both in the womb & after they are born. Christians who think Pagans were killing & aborting babies left & right until Christianity came along are absolutely delusional & have never read about all the baby killing in the Bible. “Pro-Life” Christians are completely delusional if they think the idea that butchering infants in the womb is immoral has ANYTHING to do with the Bible. Christians also take their stance to psychotic levels, being against abortion even in cases when Hippocrates & Pagans in general likely would have approved of it (like in cases of incest & rape, of forced impregnation of CHILDREN, of severely dysgenic breeding, etc)

Jesus never abolished the Law of Moses.

The problem is even if it had been abolished according to the gospels (and it wasn’t), this is a cop out, because by biblical standards, these laws are moral and just, even if abrogated. Whenever they reach for “but that’s the Old Testament,” it’s a tacit admission that it’s repugnant and indefensible. If every word of Yahweh is pure, holy, and true, then so is the whole of the Law of Moses.

There just is no way to escape that reality, though they love to try and weasel their way out of it.
