Light week this week, but two important bills.
https://rebuildnh.com/legislative-updateweek-of-feb-5th-2024/

Wednesday, February 7th, N.H. House
Health and Human Services
LOB, Room 206-208

1:00 p.m. – SUPPORT –HB1663
Medical privacy is a foundation of personal liberty, as demonstrated by the last four years. HIPAA was long misunderstood to protect privacy when it is really about sharing your private data.
State laws on medical privacy are the only thing that can limit how the medical industry and government share your information.
Please show your support for this bipartisan bill to update our medical privacy laws and hold them to the high standard of article 2-b, part 1 of the New Hampshire Constitution!

Thursday, February 8th, N.H. House SESSION
OPPOSE – HB1002
This bill wasn’t on our radar earlier. Apologies. It requires the public to pay $25 per hour for right-to-know requests. This is ludicrous. The government works for us, not the other way around.
The bill passed the NH House last week, but a motion for reconsideration has been made, meaning it will have another vote on Thursday.
Please email your reps today and tell them to oppose HB1002 to preserve government transparency.

HB 1156 will have a committee vote on Friday. This bill is very important as it prohibits the enforcement of any CDC and WHO regulations. We need to give it a little push.

⭐️ ☎️ Please call the committee chair and vice chair and kindly urge them to support HB1156.

Talking points to call the committee leaders. Let's go!

Ralph Baric, whose disgusting experiments with "humanized mice" were the backbone for Fauci's gain of function researchcapades is hiding something...

"Let's only communicate via Gmail"...
I'm sure this is how people who have nothing to hide normally communicate with colleagues.

‼️ ALERT ‼️
Call the Speaker's office and ask him to pass HB1677 unamended. Is 50% proficiency for public school students not a low enough bar to demonstrate a failure to educate? Lowering the EFA qualification in this bill to a 25% proficiency is an insult and a dereliction of duty in holding failing schools accountable.

CALL Speaker Packard

RebuildNH co-founder Rep. JR Hoell in this morning's Union Leader on the public schools' failure to educate and the needed expansion of EFAs:

You'll be shocked by some of the statistics in this piece. For most of you, you probably knew the public schools were bad. But you had no idea they were THIS bad.

You should see the circus at the state house today. Rep. JR Hoell documents the Dem caucus' mass exodus from the House chamber after trying to silence one of the members who was reading aloud excerpts of obscene material being distributed in schools and libraries. They are too "triggered" to listen to it being read aloud, but it's totally appropriate for teachers to distribute it to K-12 kids. 👌

We had some losses at the end of the day in the House yesterday. With such tight numbers between Rs and Ds, any loss in attendance spells trouble for the agenda of the caucus. Well, some Republicans kicked off early yesterday, which allowed the Democrats to kill some important bills, including HB1677, the bill to open up Education Freedom Accounts to any student in an underperforming district. The Dems also took HB1419, the obscene materials in schools bill, off the table to kill it. So we learned yesterday that Dems want to keep your children trapped in failing schools where they can be sexually groomed. Way to go, New Hampshire Democrats!

Today is the hearing for HB1664, a bill to extend legal recourse for victims of deceptive practices surrounding the transgender industry. This bill allows any patient who was under 21 years old at the time of treatment and hurt by gender transition surgeries or drugs to be able to sue for damages for 20 years, or at any time for infertility. If you haven't already contacted the committee, please send them an email. Example email in the comments for inspiration.

Also, make sure to check out Dr. Phil's appearance on Joe Rogan yesterday, where he talks about how harmful these practices are, and how they are totally lacking evidence.

❗️ACTION ALERT❗️
A bill just recently came to our attention, and while it has already had a public hearing, it could use some support this week leading up to the committee vote at the beginning of March.

⭐️ SUPPORT HB1365
I had a difficult time wrapping my head around this bill, and I suspect the committee feels the same way, which is why they are considering sending the bill to study. We want them to pass this free market healthcare solution.

This bill allows a pharmacist to substitute biosimilars. Biosimilars are drugs that have shown in clinical trials to be as safe and effective as to be comparable.
Read more about it here: https://rebuildnh.com/legislative-updateweek-of-feb-26th-2024/

Please tell the committee that this is a safe, free-market solution to reduce pharmaceutical prices.

HB1012, which would allow for "free range parenting" and was in our email alert on Jan 15, was recently debated and amended.

The House Criminal Justice Committee ultimately adopted a bipartisan amendment. It's not as good as the original language, but still a win. Next to the House floor for a vote.

When will this madness stop? CDC recommending YET ANOTHER BOOSTER for seniors.

https://www.dossier.today/p/dose-number-nine-cdc-panel-green

This "is considered a booster that targets the Eris variant, or EG.5. But what Pfizer and Moderna don’t want you to find out is that the Eris variant no longer exists. The data for this comes directly from the CDC. "

Disgusting malpractice in our federal agencies yet again putting profits over people.

Melissa is reporting MASSIVE turnout for HB 1610 – FOUR rooms full of families showed up to testify against the bill that would force mandatory statewide assessments of "all learning environments."

RebuildNH opposes how this bill is written, but also opposes the intent, which was for it to just apply to EFA students. This is how they poison pill school choice programs- by forcing students back into the system in the name of "accountability". We know that public schools teachers "teach to the test". We also know that public school standardized tests are now based in Common Core. Parents who choose to take their children out of public schools are seeking to educate their children differently. They don't want to have to tailor that education in the same way that occurs in public school in order to perform well on a test that was designed to test the specific curriculums used in public schools.

If you haven't already, make sure you email the committee!
