Masks optional due to a 3 / 3 tie with it being relooked at in October. If "cases" rise the superintendent is queen, and her decisions rule. In the meantime, a more in depth plan will go into place not allowing her absolute power

Epping Lost. Mandating masks starting Monday. Disgusting- so many people spoke against it and yet the board 3-2 won for mandates. Furious.

It’s time for difficult decisions, sacrifice and the willingness to make profound changes for the sake of our kids. With alternative learning methods, you don’t have to start on Monday. That’s the government plan, not yours. There is still time to find other solutions. That is the beauty of home/alternative schooling; flexibility.

If you have a 529 investment plan, may be time to cash it in and worry about the present rather than the future. 529 plans can now be used for private education prior to college. Especially with what we know about universities now, I say use the money now. Live off it if you have to quit your job to homeschool. Pay the 10% penalty if you have to. But there are options like Prenda groups in NH. And connect with NH home school coalition to find out where the pods near your community are. The kids wearing masks all day are in danger. The kids getting trained to be marxists are in danger. Above all, our kids are more important than money.

...My plan is to supplement his education with real life lessons and experiences. No more masks, no more indoctrination. I feel for the parents with young kids. Everyone is at a crossroads and the gravity of the situation cannot be understated.

Here's the letter our school district got from the NHDOE and it's likely your district got a similar letter. It's signed by a long list of doctors in NH. Your doctor or your child's doctor may be on this list. They cite no studies that rendered their decision. These are the doctors that want your children muzzled but can't seem to include any studies to support their decision. Our district is referring to a "CDC Study" where a CA teacher took off her mask to read a book and some kids in the class got covid. That's what they consider a CDC Study. These are the kind of people we are dealing with.
