The leftist counterpart to the normally apolitical Found. Openly a psyop.

Let's talk about the hilariously-spectacular failure that is the wave of rightoid mass-reportings, tl;dr at the end. This is a great example of an action/operation done to disrupt something that, in the end, actually makes it stronger. Or perhaps more precisely, how not to troll. But they didn't simply fail to accomplish their goals, their sperg-out of an operation backfired and did to them exactly what they were trying to do to leftgram.

Crunched history for those not in the know: RUST-affiliated channels and multiple other communist, anarchist and similar communities were auto-purged from Telegram after a wave of mass-reportings orchestrated by dozens of rightoid channels. In the end, nine out of ten of these communities were reinstated after review by volunteer Telegram staff.

In the beginning, their calls for mass-reportings and subsequent list of report targets were spread far and wide among their circles. The first channels to be removed were RUST-affiliated communities. Admittedly, there was some amount of panic, but it didn't last long after the channels reinstated one-by-one.

Now at first this may simply seem to most to be a mere annoyance, but don't be so near-sighted. After the incident, many major channels are establishing backup spaces on other platforms, like the Matrix network. The imperfection and insecurities of Telegram were shoved in our faces without warning. We all knew we'd have to deal with it eventually but now we know that the danger of Telegram censorship, accidental or otherwise, is real. Long story short, we cannot afford to put all our eggs in one basket. Telegram's rightoids brought this fact very close to home without actually causing damage.

Now here's the funny part. Apparently, Telegram decided that it was time to cycle through basically every channel with more than one report for violent content after their wave of reports came in. Most of us know how to not fedpost 24/7 like a bunch of brainlets, but you all know how spicy rightoids get. We were smart, thought ahead and got a get out of jail free card, but many of them made no reservations to posting all manner of unsavory content for months on end. They were dumb and dozens of their channels got the chopping block for having a constant hard-on for violence.

Too long, didn't read:
Hundreds of leftygram communities were targeted for mass-reports as orchestrated by the greater rightoid community; dozens of our channels auto-purged from a sudden flood of reports; large majority of our channels reinstated after review by volunteer Telegram staff; Telegram decides to clean house and cycles through all communities with a history of reports for violent content; dozens or hundreds of assorted rightoid communities purged, probably won't even get half of them reinstated; the experience shoved in our collective face the fact that Telegram isn't an eternal safe haven and now many communist, anarchist, etc. communities are establishing auxiliary/back-up presences on other platforms, such as Matrix.
Leftygram: dozens of channels temporarily disrupted, many communities now working on securing presence elsewhere online.
Rightoids: indeterminate amount (at least dozens, possibly hundreds) of communities permanently removed from Telegram (and remember, it was their own operation that did this).
Hey, speaking of this, would you all want my current list of right wing channels? Mass reporting seems like a valid form of deplatforming, but I understand the concerns.

Drop ya list?
Please report all of these except for the channel network, that can be utilized later. As an additional note on the channel network, I didn't put everything on there on to this list, only the ones with 1000+ subs. If you wanna be a real champ, report the smaller ones too!
"Many of the most promising ideas in circulation now proceed from a simple principle: Our economy will continue to fail the American people until they are given more control over it.

Some of the proposals that should be given consideration concern the reallocation of power at the firm level: that is to say, “reshaping company ownership so that it is democratic, inclusive, and purposeful by design,” as the policy analyst Peter Gowan wrote last year. In an interview this week, Gowan told me, “We should be encouraging the development of a lot of alternative economic models. And we should be encouraging people and workers on the ground to think about how the private ownership of capital is negatively impacting their lives.”"

"In a widely overlooked campaign proposal last year, Senator Bernie Sanders, inspired by another recent Labour proposal, took the concept of the employee stock fund to the next level: the Democratic Employee Ownership Fund. “Under this plan,” the campaign wrote, “corporations with at least $100 million in annual revenue, corporations with at least $100 million in balance sheet total, and all publicly traded companies will be required to provide at least 2 percent of stock to their workers every year until the company is at least 20 percent owned by employees.”"

"This isn’t a new idea. In Italy, for instance, a body of legislation called the Marcora Framework offers workers financial support for turning shuttering businesses into worker cooperatives. According to the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises, the framework facilitated at least 257 worker buyouts between 1979 and 2014 and saved at least 9,500 jobs. It also found that even distressed businesses that wound up closing eventually survived for over a decade, on average, after their worker takeovers. In 2018, the platform of the U.K.’s Labour Party included an even bolder idea—granting workers the right to a first chance to buy their companies not only when they’re at risk of dissolving but whenever they’re put up for sale."

Damn, I didn't know that this this is what they had in mind when they said the Trump legal team is living in a fantasy.
