To keep forests alive tomorrow, spike 'em all today.
Acquire nails about 2-3 inches in length (preferably in a way that can't be traced back to you), and a wirecutter capable of cutting through them easily.
For a quick and easy job, hammer them in at a forty-five degree angle where chainsaws or vehicle-mounted circular saws would cut into.
To maximize damage, hammer them straight into the tree as high as you can reach, no lower than eye-level. This will wreak havoc not on singular blades, but on whole-tree processing systems, such as what is used in producing planks (no reason you can't do both, though).
Clip off their heads as close to the tree as you can make the cut. If the trees have time, you can just allow the tree to grow a layer of bark over it, but in a pinch placing some bark over it or even dampening the shine with a sharpie will do. A favorite among experienced spikers is to use another nail as a punch and hammer the headless nails a little deeper into the tree so the bark grows over it fast.
You don't need to get every single tree, in fact only spiking one area of trees will make it easy to avoid them all in favor of non-spiked trees. Be random but thorough. It only takes a few nails to cause millions of dollars in damage, practically nullifying their profits.
If noise is a problem, wrapping cloth over the hammer will quiet it some. It's also possible to use a hand drill in place of or in combination with a hammer.
Sticks of ceramic placed into a drilled hole and sealed with insulating foam spray (mitigates infection risk for the tree), while a far more time-consuming task, yields a spike that can't be found through metal detectors and won't rust away even after centuries.
And remember: the point isn't to get all trees everywhere, the point is to make large expanses of forest dangerous no-go areas for big logging corporations seeking to cut down equally large areas. The point is to send a massive "fuck you too" in the form of an industrial saw suddenly flying apart in a grand scene of sparks and shattered metal. The point is for us little guys to make it that much harder for uncaring and inconsiderate corporations to destroy local forests.
