Let me frame this in a different way:
I've seen a couple people genuinely complaing about "pro-wasp propoganda," whatever that means.
What do people gain from "pro-wasp" propaganda? Nothing, largely, except trying to get people to stop senselessly killing and hating a creature vital to the environment.
Who benefits from anti-wasp propaganda? Well, wouldnt you know it, chemical companies. There is a financial incentive behind getting YOU to hate wasps. Just like theres a financial incentive behind getting you to hate dandelions, and clover, and everything else that just naturally pops up in your yard.
I want to reiterate that there are always circumstances in which removing a wasp nest from your home is totally justified. There are invasive wasp species. But rhetoric about how useless and dangerous wasps are as a whole should not be tolerated, and anybody who refuses to accept this is willfully ignorant and a fucking moron.

And yes, a couple people think I'm taking this too seriously, but I do not care - it's such an INCREDIBLE lack of empathy and care for the natural world that I see people expressing, and the fact that people claim they are joking about it only makes them shittier people.
