There's something to be said about the wastefulness of suburbia, of HUGE houses with HUGE yards and HUGE driveways for HUGE cars, but humans are creative creatures. We like to live in spaces that are pretty and interesting, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to live in a place that's pretty and interesting.

My home is from 1925. As we work on it, we can tell that a LOT of love went into it. and i have every intention to pour even more love into it, make so much unnecessary ornate detail into every improvement we make. :3

Why? Because i understand that living in the woods (not in a house. Just under the trees) would suck. But that doesnt mean i cant make my home look like a woodland. :3

They refused to give LGBTQ+ people shelter in winter which led to trans people literally dying.

Their highest ranking members have been seen carrying signs calling for queer people to be murdered.

Gonna add on to this. Yes don't donate to the SA, they suck, but also, don't be the fucker who says "I'm not gonna donate to the Salvation Army because they do bad things" and uses that as an excuse not to donate at all. This is an important and strenuous time for a lot of people and you SHOULD be making donations if you have the means, you just gotta keep an eye on who you're donating to.
