Rescuing hundreds of rare cacti for replanting that grow no place else in the US except South Texas as the state-funded border wall destroys thousands of acres of habitat for a fence that will do nothing to stop true criminals or cartels.
Look, I'm gonna be real with you all real quick. Revolutionary leftism (at least, of the kind where the government is overthrown and dismantled) isn't practical right now. The hard reality is that, at the present moment, the far right is both better armed, better trained and, more likely than not, more numerous than the revolutionary left. I'm not saying the left shouldn't be armed. I'm not saying there's no place for things like secessionist movements, autonomous zones, etc. in left wing discourse, but the truth is, in most parts of America there would be an immediate and devastating counter-revolution if any leftist uprising was successful, and that's a reality that needs to be reckoned with.
