The leftist counterpart to the normally apolitical Found. Openly a psyop.

Essay about ecopoetry.
Mazdakism is so interesting to read about. It's an offshoot religion of Zoroastrianism that believed in non-violence and communal ownership. Highly recommend researching it!

Excellent post
Yes all art is political, but most art isn't exclusively political. If that's the only or primary level on which you're willing to engage with media, I might have serious frustrations about your need to moralize everything.

This one is interesting because conservatives really cannot differentiate prison from free labor except on the price. OP is absolutely right on slavery and its effects

I don't 100% agree with this in the sense that we can't consume our way to a better world, there is still no ethical consumption, but abstinence from consuming certain products - as a STRATEGIC form of activism - absolutely works.

political analysis and moralizing aren't the same, though
i totally agree that it shouldn't be ones only way to engage with media, but being aware of the class position the media represents is very important imo (so i don't see, why it can't be the primary level)
the step of "this has politics i disagree with" to "reading this is immoral" is a way bigger mistake imo
