In all honesty this is a great pick. It gives me some hope, especially considering Walz has basically turned Minnesota into a sanctuary state for trans people and actually done a ton of good progressive shit. I was expecting to be disappointed and I’m glad I’m not.

Walz on Vance: I can’t wait to debate the guy. That is, if he’s willing to get off his couch and show up.

When I talk about how the way websites for children have changed, this is what I mean
Like, there are still games and videos or whatever, but idk, the shift toward "exclusive membership content" being so much in the forefront rubs me the wrong way
And yes, that IS the Lego website from my childhood, and YES I am nostalgiatripping
Justice is not just legally/socially/morally codified revenge. Justice does not necessitate punishment.

If you want my full opinion, real justice does two things:
1. It reempowers the victim.
2. It prevents the problem from happening again.
Neither of these necessitate punishing anyone.

Today marks seven years since Heather Heyer lost her life while standing up to fascists in Charlottesville. We honor Heather’s courage and the courage of all the others who knowingly put themselves in harm’s way that day for the sake of protecting others.
In 2024, the site of the attack remains a place of memory, mourning, and calls to resist.
