If you want my full opinion, real justice does two things:
1. It reempowers the victim.
2. It prevents the problem from happening again.

Neither of these necessitate punishing anyone.

According to the Mozilla Foundation's 2021–2022 financial statement, which is the most recent one published, $510 million out of its $593 million in revenue came courtesy of Google's search payments.

Initially Firefox had Google as the default search engine for free, but then during the early days other engined started offering money to Mozilla during the bidding wars, so Google also bid for themselves in competition.

I do think ai has applications in education and medicine, but it really shouldn't be applied in the majority of the fields it's being used

I feel like Amara's law ( "We tend to overestimate the effect of a technology in the short run and underestimate the effect in the long run.") applies perfectly to ai. It isn't going to revolutionize every field ever, but the fact that it's really good at stuff like, say, detecting tumors, is going to reshape human history
