So a small update and a request.

I'm finally nearing the end of my 3 year bachelor's. If all goes well, I'll be defending my dissertation next month and get my degree by May-June. I'll soon also be done with my course at New Centre.

However, a new set of challenges are in front of me which I don't know how to face without some help. There is a LIST of expenses standing over head. As some of you may remember, I, as a transwoman, need to escape India and my transphobic father as soon as possible.

Turns out, the country where I am planning to go right now, Germany, requires verification of Indian University certificates through an institution called APS. And just so happens, APS charges hefty. 200 Euros (that is 18k INR, most of our monthly income). That is not the end of trouble for me.

Here is complete list of expenses:

APS application - 200 Euros
Visa application - 75 Euros
Cambridge English Exam - 40 Euros
Uni-assist (which processes applications for most German unis):
First application - 75 Euros
Each subsequent application - 30 Euros

This totals to 390 + 30*(# of unis applied).

And I am not sure if DAAD scholarship application also costs fees or not. And assuming all this works out there will be additional expenses for flight ticket etc. I do have some savings left from previous donations but they will not be sufficient.

Looks like Germany will be my last shot as I will not be able to apply to any other country after this. In light of this if anyone can spare some funds, that would be extremely generous and helpful.

Some may notice that regular activity on my channel has seized. That is so I am no longer able to read or engage with material as much as I used to, due to various pressures. The activity may not return to normal for some future duration, until matters are resolved.

Thanks for your support, regardless. I am making this post just to say that whatever funds I managed to collect (around 200 USD) through the fund raiser, have been seized by PayPal without any explanation. The only explanation I have gotten is that I violated their user agreement and had some suspicious activity with no specification as to what any of it was.

My account has been frozen for 180 days and apparently, if you look this up, you may find this is a rather common behavior on the part of PayPal, where in some cases they also confiscate people's funds without explanation as "compensation for violation of user agreement". So for everyone's safety, I am making the post to say that if you hold your funds in a paypal wallet please do not do so. Paypal is not safe.
