More draconian trans policy disallowing trans people from immigrating to the US

I would like to add the comment to this that there's nothing *inherently* wrong with genetically modifying produce. Humans have been doing it for millennia, just in less sophisticated ways than we currently do. The issue with gmos is not their existence, it's both that they're used for the same monoculture farming that has always been risk-prone, and that many corporations (Monsanto being the most well known example) design crops around exploitative practices and principles.

Yet again, the issue is not technology, but the capitalist application of technology.
