Casual reminder that there is currently a genocide against the Rohingya being perpetrated by the Burmese Myanmar government. The talking heads in your local imperialist settler news sources are refusing to actively report on this crisis. Instead, they are choosing to focus their attention on advancing capitalist narratives about the situation in Hong Kong for you to endlessly sift through, and glean no useful information.

The situation in Myanmar is dismal for all those involved in this refugee genocide, especially as they are currently being blocked from evacuating the Rakhine. We need to turn our attention, consciously, to the displaced people of the Rohingya instead of consuming every last bit of imperialist narratives regarding the situation in Xinjiang, and other United States hypocrisy.

If it is any semblance on which issue is more likely to be a current crisis, and which deserves more of our attention: virtually every Muslim periphery condemns Myanmar, and denies involuntary mass Uyghur detention.

Ace and demisexual folks are LGBTQI*. I'll fight for that one.
