The interesting thing about the MAHA movement and RFK Jr. is that his work is, on some level, the application of the conservative mindset to the field of health. In the same way that being poor is a product of a wavering character, unintelligence and/or laziness, poor health is the product of one's inability to take care of their own bodies via nutrition, exercise and supplements.

It's only natural that the conservative movement would latch onto Kennedy's ideas on health: Reframing social ails as individual failings is the ultimate justification for gutting systems and protections. This is something we've seen time and time again in American discourse, from welfare queens to super-predators.
