⚠️Warning: Distressing details about hostages: ⚠️
New, horrifying details have emerged about the two years in captivity of Elkana Bohbot and Avinatan Or, who were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from the Nova Music Festival on October 7, 2023. Both men endured unimaginable suffering in Gaza.

1. Elkana Bohbot was held in a Hamas terror tunnel deep underground for his entire captivity. He spent nearly two years shackled in darkness, isolated from the world above.

2. While held hostage, Elkana could see his family advocating for his release on television, a haunting reminder of the life he was torn away from.

3. In the days leading up to his release, Hamas overfed hostages despite clear Israeli medical warnings that this could be fatal after prolonged starvation. As a result, Elkana now suffers from severe stomach pain, as well as pain in his legs and lower back from his long imprisonment in shackles.

4. Meanwhile, Avinatan Or was held completely alone for two years in Gaza. He never encountered another hostage, enduring total isolation and starvation at the hands of his captors.

5. Initial medical assessments reveal that Avinatan Or lost between 30–40% of his body weight during captivity.
He was deliberately starved.

6. These testimonies expose the systematic torture and dehumanization Hamas inflicted on innocent civilians for nearly two years.

7. Elkana and Avinatan’s courage and survival are a testament to the human spirit, but their suffering is a damning indictment of Hamas’ brutality. Hamas’ cruelty knows no bounds.
