🚨 Is wearing a Star of David an "antagonistic" act?

A troubling incident has emerged: A Jewish man arrested after his Star of David ‘antagonised’ protesters outside the Israeli Embassy. The officers reportedly said that wearing a Star of David necklace was “antagonising the situation” and that protesters “may take offence”.

While the Met Police states the man was not arrested for wearing the symbol, this case raises serious questions about how Jewish identity is treated in public spaces.
No one should be made to feel unsafe or criminalised for wearing a symbol of who they are. We will not stay silent.
