O vídeo assusta não apenas pela encenação dos jovens, mas por algo mais alarmante — a adesão popular: pedestres se aproximaram para tirar selfies e reproduzir a saudação nazista, normalizando algo terrível.
Infelizmente, nos últimos anos, sobretudo depois do massacre realizado pelo Hamas no sul de Israel em 7 de outubro de 2023, os casos de antissemitismo têm crescido cada vez mais na Turquia. O próprio presidente turco, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, tem um longo histórico de declarações antissemitas e de apoio ao Hamas. Logo, não é de se estranhar cenas como essa.

Brothers in Battle, Home at Last.
Hamas captivity survivor and IDF hero Matan Angrest shared a moving message to his fallen brother-in-arms, Staff Sergeant Itay Chen (19), who was returned to Israel on November 4:
“I never stopped thinking about you. Finally, you are back home, my brother.”
Matan and Itay fought side by side on October 7, 2023, defending southern Israel during Hamas’ brutal massacre. Matan was kidnapped alive into Gaza, endured more than 2 years of torture and inhumane treatment, and survived against all odds. Itay, an American-Israeli IDF soldier, was murdered that day and kidnapped into Gaza.
They served alongside Captain Daniel Peretz and Sergeant Tomer Leibovitz, who also gave their lives defending Israel. Daniel was murdered and kidnapped, while Tomer was killed in battle, his body was located days after the massacre.
We salute the entire Peretz tank squad, their bravery will never be forgotten.
