American-Israeli IDF hero Itay Chen was finally laid to rest in Israel. 🇮🇱🇺🇸

On October 7, 2023, Itay Chen (19) fought bravely alongside his tank crew brothers, Matan Angrest, Daniel Perez, and Tomer Leibovitz, a team bound by courage and unbreakable brotherhood. During the Hamas massacre, Tomer, Itay, and Daniel were killed, and Itay and Daniel were kidnapped into Gaza. Tomer was found days following the massacre and laid to rest.
Matan was kidnapped alive, surviving over two years in Hamas captivity before his release.

Today, Itay Chen has finally been laid to rest with honor.
May the memories of Itay, Daniel, and Tomer forever be a blessing. 🕯️

On this day in 1975, Chaim Herzog delivered one of the most iconic speeches in UN history in response to the outrageous "Zionism is Racism" allegation. Herzog stood before the UN and tore up the resolution in question. Incredible that today, we face the same bigotry and corruption in the UN.
"I stand here not as a supplicant. Vote as your moral conscience dictates to you. For the issue is neither Israel nor Zionism. The issue is the continued existence of this organization, which has been dragged to its lowest point of discredit by a coalition of despots and racists.
