Enquanto que o mundo volta seus olhos para a Faixa de Gaza, apesar do cessar-fogo em vigor, refugiados sudaneses que vivem em Israel apontam o fato de que uma crise humanitária ainda mais grave no Sudão tem sido amplamente ignorada pela comunidade internacional. Desde abril de 2023, o país africano enfrenta uma guerra civil entre as Forças Armadas Sudanesas (SAF) e as Forças de Apoio Rápido (RSF) — grupo paramilitar comandado por Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, ex-chefe da milícia Janjaweed.

De acordo com a ONU, o conflito já deixou mais de 150 mil mortos. Outras organizações humanitárias, todavia, afirmam que esse número deve ser ainda maior. O país vive uma das piores e mais graves crises de deslocamento forçado do mundo, com 11 milhões de pessoas obrigadas a deixar suas casas. Há inúmeras denúncias de assassinatos em massa, inclusive nesta última semana, após a tomada da cidade de El Fasher, em Darfur, pelos rebeldes da RSF.

Para os cerca de 6.600 sudaneses que vivem em Israel, o padrão duplo é doloroso. “O mundo inteiro se importa menos com os africanos negros. Se tivéssemos uma cor de pele diferente, talvez houvesse mais apoio”, disse Monim Haroon, que atua na ONG HIAS Israel, a qual atende refugiados vítimas da guerra desde 2023.

Powerful words from loved ones of IDF hero Hadar Goldin at his funeral.

On August 1, 2014, more than 11 years ago, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge, Hadar Goldin was murdered and kidnapped by Hamas terrorists in Gaza, just one hour after a humanitarian ceasefire had taken effect. On November 9, 2025, Hadar was returned to Israel for burial.

May Hadar’s memory forever be a blessing. 🕯️

A atriz e produtora israelense Gal Gadot foi anunciada ontem (11) como vencedora do Prêmio Genesis 2026, conhecido como o “Nobel Judaico”, concedido pela Fundação Prêmio Genesis (GPF). A escolha se dá em reconhecimento pela coragem e clareza moral da artista ao chamar a atenção internacional para os reféns israelenses sequestrados pelo Hamas durante os ataques de 7 de outubro de 2023. Gadot também expressou solidariedade às vítimas civis da Faixa de Gaza afetadas pela guerra.

A atriz afirmou sentir-se honrada por se unir a laureados que a antecederam, entre os quais estão ex-juíza da Suprema Corte dos Estados Unidos Ruth Bader Ginsburg, o ativista de direitos humanos Natan Sharansky e o cineasta Steven Spielberg. “Sou uma judia orgulhosa e uma israelense orgulhosa. Dedico este prêmio às pessoas que estão ajudando Israel a se curar”, declarou.

O presidente da fundação, Stan Polovets, destacou que a Gadot demonstrou coragem moral e amor inabalável por Israel, inspirando milhões de pessoas. A artista decidiu doar o prêmio de US$ 1 milhão para ONGs israelenses que auxiliam o país na recuperação da guerra.

Com o reconhecimento, a intérprete de Mulher-Maravilha reforça sua posição como uma das vozes israelenses mais influentes do mundo, especialmente após promover exibições privadas das imagens do massacre de 7 de outubro para líderes de Hollywood, com o objetivo de conscientizar sobre a brutalidade do ataque.

O Vaticano informou nesta semana que abriu uma investigação sobre um suposto caso de antissemitismo envolvendo um membro da Guarda Suíça. Ironicamente, o episódio teria ocorrido em 29 de outubro, durante a celebração do 60º aniversário da “Nostra Aetate”, documento histórico que revolucionou as relações da Igreja Católica com as religiões não cristãs. Na ocasião, duas mulheres judias afirmaram que um guarda fez um gesto depreciativo contra elas.

Nesta mesma celebração, o Papa Leão XIV condenou publicamente o antissemitismo, repudiando-o “em qualquer época e contra qualquer pessoa”. Em comunicado sobre o incidente, o Vaticano confirmou que a Guarda Suíça está conduzindo uma investigação interna após receber a denúncia.

O caso ocorre em um contexto global de aumento de incidentes antissemitas. As conclusões da investigação interna do Vaticano ainda não foram divulgadas.

A StandWithUs UK student shared this recording with us, exposing awful comments made by a UCL academic during a lecture at University College London.

During a lecture noscriptd “The Birth of Zionism”, delivered by Dr Samar Maqusi, a research fellow at University College London, shocking antisemitic falsehoods were shared with students.

In this clip, Dr Maqusi repeats the medieval blood libel – a long-debunked and dangerous conspiracy that falsely accuses Jews of using the blood of non-Jews in religious rituals. This vile myth fuelled centuries of violence against Jewish communities.

This lecture was hosted by the UCL Students for Justice in Palestine Society as part of a five-part series called “Palestine: From Existence to Resistance” on 11 November 2025.

Such hate-filled lies have no place in any academic institution.
