Friendly Reminder for Posting ROMs

Hey everyone! Before sharing your ROM here, please make sure it’s been tested at least 5 times. It’s not just for your benefit but also for the whole community who wants a smooth and reliable experience.

Don’t spam untested ROMs and avoid posting ROMs that have major bugs (e.g., root not working, boot loops, etc.). Only share versions with minor bugs here. My advice to devs: consider creating a dedicated channel for your ROMs to share updates and test versions.

And of course, let’s keep things chill and avoid drama about which ROM is “better” or “worse.” We’re here to help each other out!

Another Friendly Reminder for Posting ROMs

As some of you probably know, we've been dealing with issues on Sapphire like custom ROMs, missing sources, private trees, kangs, and all that. Because of this, we’ve come up with some new ways to keep everything safe and fully updated for our device. From now on, our group and channel will work only through invites, recognition, or requests.

You’re probably wondering how that’s going to work, right?

Basically, if you want to contribute to the community with a ROM or even a kernel, you’ll need to submit a request that’ll be reviewed by the staff. Any post that doesn’t get our approval will be removed, and the person responsible will get penalized. Also, if the tree isn’t public, the ROM won't be posted.

Also, we’re excited to announce that the Sapphire tree is now public! That’s right, you can now build your own ROM by accessing the source through this link "here". This will be a new rule for the group going forward.
