WhatsApp is releasing companion mode on Android beta, some beta testers can finally link their existing WhatsApp account to an additional mobile phone.

YouTube Music rolling out Now Playing redesign that hides dislike button.

At the top it identifies where the current song is “Playing from.” (Liked, playlist, radio or artist page). To the right is the relocated Cast button, which was previously in the interface when you clicked on the cover art.

The cover itself now has more rounded corners, and the song noscript is aligned on the left edge. The "three dots" button is now more accessible, and the "Dislike" button is hidden there as well.

The play/pause button now has a white background and is no longer colored by the cover color.

Announcement of new features for small groups

Telegram tweeted that the messenger team is currently working on features that are exclusively useful for small groups.

Earlier in a Telegram blog, it was already mentioned that new tools for organizing communication are planned to be released by the end of the year. It is assumed that the novelties will best suit small groups. Details on the future functions are not yet available.

Global Auto-deletion of Messages Option

In Beta version of Telegram for macOS, you can see “Auto-delete messages” option in the privacy settings.

After enabling the function, in all new personal dialogs, as well as in new groups and channels created, messages will be automatically deleted after a period of time specified in the settings. The option will not work in previously created or started chats.

In Beta version of Telegram for Android, you can see a mention of virtual numbers that can be purchased on the Fragment platform.

In early Beta versions, it was possible to log into the account with a number starting with the prefix +888 and belonging to Fragment.

Global Auto-deletion of Messages Option

In Beta version of Telegram for Android, you can now enable the "Auto-delete messages” option in settings

After enabling the feature, an auto delete timer will be enabled in all new personal chats, newly created groups and channels. The option will not work in previously created or started chats.

Improved navigation between chats and forums

The Beta version of Telegram for Android has redesigned the forums.

All topics are now displayed in a panel that slides out from the right edge. When a forum is expanded, a list of all chats appears on the left side of the screen, and you can quickly navigate between them.

Anti-spam system from 100 participants

The Beta version of Telegram for Android has the option to enable an aggressive anti-spam system.

From the information we have, Telegram plans to improve the anti-spam system in groups. Admins will be able to enable the new "Aggressive anti-spam".

To improve the algorithms, admins can report false deletions in "Recent actions".

Aggressive Anti-spam is available only for chats with at least 100 participants.

This feature does not work properly now (a server-side restriction may have been set).
