Dear Remme Community,

Many of you are asking how the company and the team are doing. Here is some updates about our company:

1️⃣ Work Format

Our entire team was transferred to a remote mode. Thanks to well-coordinated actions, a plan for effective remote work was developed in the shortest possible time. That will not affect the final result.

2️⃣ Health Status

Everyone is doing well, no one has reported in with sickness or symptoms. We have a plan and we are executing it. We expect to emerge from this crisis stronger than ever.

3️⃣ Pilot project

In connection with the circumstances in Ukraine and around the world as a whole we will not be able to hold an AMA session soon. But Alex will be able to answer your questions portionwise within its capacity. From the beginning of April, we are going to release a block of answers to your questions every week.

Remme has always tried to be completely honest and transparent with the community, so we have decided to launch an experimental project that will help you to be informed of the situation in the company.

The rules are the same as on AMA:

1) Write your questions in our Remme official telegram group with a hashtag: #askAlex
2) Try not to repeat the questions

Quarter In Review: Q1 2020

The world has changed dramatically since our last Q update, but amid the chaos, Remme continues to work.

📱 Auth identity app interface has been designed.
In addition to passwordless authentication, the first app version will include features like active sessions monitoring, remote logout, friends & family option for ID recovery. We’re currently developing the beta version, so sign up for the waitlist and stay tuned.

🏢 Auth for Business got a brand-new integration model.
Enterprises can test drive blockchain-based IAM solutions for customer, workforce or federated IDs. Simply request ready-to-use pilot project plans with a 30-day delivery to validate concepts fast and get predictable results.

🎉 Keyhub is now used by the leading Certificate Authority GlobalSign.
The company is leveraging our product as a standalone whitelabel certificate discovery, inventory and management platform for its sizable customer base.

In recent months, we have launched a dedicated new website for Auth and also designed an onboarding flow which provides an insight into how 2-click passwordless authentication works.

🏢 PKI(d) Protocol: codebase merge & updated developers portal

We’ve continued tweaking our next-gen PKI layer for creating and managing decentralized IDs and their digital keys, and at this stage the mainnet has 41 Block Producers, 84 Guardians, 35 million blocks produced and 283M REM staked. It’s not too late to jump onboard and become a REMChain participant.

🎉 Keyhub: automated SSL/TLS certificate management across enterprise

In recent months, we have built on the successful partnership we secured at the turn of the year, when Certificate Authority GlobalSign started leveraging the tool. If GlobalSign’s feedback is anything to go by, our conviction that Keyhub is the decent certificate discovery tool on the market isn’t going to change any time soon.

🎉 Remme’s 2️⃣🅾️2️⃣🅾️ year in review

💭 It’s pretty amazing to think about how far Remme has come in the past 12 months. There were many unexpected twists and turns. Both in the good «direction» and in the frankly terrible one. But we have coped and are ready to share with you the brightest moments of this year:

📱 Auth hits the App Store

Our digital identity solution for single sign-on got available on the App Store. A passwordless digital identity app with inbuilt data protections, Auth is one of our flagship products and it was great to finally be able to send it out into the wild.

🏢 First year of REMChain Mainnet

Today the first public blockchain built on top of our Protocol is thriving with 43 Block Producers, 88 Guardians, 63 million blocks produced and 375 million REM tokens staked. That’s amazing! REMChain is the core of our ecosystem and we hope next year the numbers above go up with incredible speed.

🎉 Peanut: 5 stages of acceptance passed…?

While REMChain was ticking over, we found the time to create a new product called Peanut. Conceived to address the major pain points of decentralized exchanges (DEXs), namely impermanent loss and front-running, Peanut is an advanced price balancer tool that helps LPs earn more. 

Peanut wasn’t the only product our devs got their teeth stuck into this year, incidentally. We also unveiled Swapy, an app that enables users to obtain the best exchange rate available without having to scrutinize volumes, register on multiple cryptocurrency exchanges, and manually place buy/sell orders. Swapy also furnishes users with access to low-cap, low-liquidity tokens at spot price, taking commission only on the % saved by using Swapy. You can’t say fairer than that.

Hi guys! Remme is greeting the community and would like to announce strategic changes we plan for the upcoming weeks.


You know that our crypto-currency division produces literally x100 results compared to cyber-security one. Yesterday we showed one of our latest achievement - fully automated and distributed token economy using buyback with 0 Gwei.

In 2021 blockchain is still an emerging technology and new territory for many business decision makers. A lot of companies provide their unique blockchain solutions, which are improving our life at different levels. But traditional business is still waiting the cat to jump, and one (or several of) blockchain provider to become indisputable leader - or propose a way to standardize the industry and integrate different blockchains. Before this happens, they are not ready to invest significantly in any specific solution.

It’s a big mind gap between the blockchain community and more “traditional” businesses, and it decelerates Remme’s business in the field of cyber-security. While passwordless authentication is the complicated market itself, promoting blockchain-based solutions becomes even more tricky.

Remme has performed in-depth investigation, and came to conclusion, that marketing potential will not enable to make appropriate buybacks for Remme token in 2021 and launch working token economy.

From the business point, it will also contribute to De-Fi part of our business:

1. From the beginning of the 2021 our performance improved significantly, and the most part of profit increasing was provided by De-Fi products despite both product groups (Remme and Peanut) are created by the same team with the same technologies and resources.

2. It’s a tough task to match crypto-economics and traditional one under the one roof.

3. We launched several De-Fi products in the last months, and most part of them performed better than planned. But it’s only about 10% of ideas we’ve got. Now the only limit we see is the team's capacity, so we need to rebalance our resources to make the De-Fi division even more effective.

4. The only reason to save the cyber-security division is to stay in a more stable and predictable market. But our analysis shows that even if the bear market ends for crypto, and prospective income decreases by 10-20 times, our tokenomics will still work, and the company will stay profitable.

That’s why we want to inform about the REMChain project shutdown plan.

We decided to put on hold active business-development for REMChain and make full convertion to NUX token.

All ERC20 and native REMChain tokens (even locked) could be exchanged for NUX. Please, do not make any REMChain swaps now. We will post exact flow how and when to make a claim during few days.

We are planning 380 REM:1 NUX ratio (much higher current market price) for swap since there are 1.4m NUX still unclaimed on airdrop wallet. We will extend claim period till June end to be fair for all holders. Tokens for full swap will come from Community and Partnerships fund. Rest of unclaimed airdrop and full swap tokens will be sent back to same fund after claim&swap periods will be ended.

As you may know from this post we've decided to put on hold the active business-development for REMChain and make the full convertion to NUX token. According to it we need to identify all the ERC20 addresses of our REMChain users.

What to Expect for the #REMSWAP + Common Questions

Our team has received inquiries from the Remme community about how REM tokens are swapped and what to expect on the day of swapping.

As you may know, We decided to put on hold active business-development for REMChain and make full conversion $REM to $NUX token. All ERC20 and native REMChain tokens (even locked) could be exchanged for $NUX. And here is the details:

Starting Date: the first week of June
End Date: the first week of July (can be adjusted)
Swap Rate: 380 $REM : 1 $NUX
Vesting Period: daily unlock for 750 days starting from FEB, 23d 2021. Details

I have my REM on REMChain. What should I do?

I have already identified my ERC 20 address as a REMChain user. What’s next?

First of all we'll TERMINATE all the swaps on/from #REMChain starting from June, 3.
At the first week of June we’ll provide the flow on our peanut.trade website where you can easily swap your $REM for $NUX tokens in a couple of clicks. You do not need to exchange tokens for a native on REMChain and go through the address identification. Wait for the announcement of the Swap launch.

I hold REM on my ERC20 wallet/cold wallet. What to do?

At the first week of June we’ll provide the flow on our peanut.trade website where you can easily swap your $REM for $NUX tokens in a couple of clicks. You do not need to exchange tokens for a native on REMChain and go through the address identification. Wait for the announcement of the Swap launch.

Should I send my REM to ERC20 wallet if I hold it on exchange?

You can send your $REM Tokens to the ERC20 address (Metamask is preferable) and swap it using our native flow on peanut.trade that will be announced shortly.
