President Biden recently signed several of my bills into law! My Range Access Act, Court Improvement Program Enhancement Act, & provisions included in the FY25 NDAA recently crossed the finish line, & I am hopeful for the ways these bills will enhance the lives of our recreationalists, children & families in the welfare system, & our servicemembers. Housing affordability has become a national security issue, as it impacts the readiness of @HAFB in Utah’s First District. This is why I recently reintroduced my Low Income Housing for Defense Communities Act for the 119th Congress, which would bring much needed tax relief & increased housing options to military families serving near major bases. I thank @RepStricklandWA for her partnership in reintroducing this bill, & I look forward to seeing this bill make a meaningful impact in the lives of our servicemembers in Utah & across the nation.

What a great way to start the 119th Congress! My MAPWaters Act & National Medal of Honor Monument Location Act have passed the House! These bills will enhance recreationalists’ ability to access & enjoy our federal waterways & establish a location for a monument to recognize our Medal of Honor recipients on the National Mall. I’m grateful to start the year with these exciting wins, & I look forward to advancing these bills to the Senate Floor.
