Biden invoked his power under the Foreign Assistance Act to bypass a congressional ban of cluster munitions by claiming that vital U.S. national security interests are at stake in order to send hundreds of thousands of controversial cluster munitions to Ukraine.

Cluster munitions are banned by over 120 countries including most of NATO.

The American people and United States national security interests are not in danger in Ukraine.

However, side stepping Congress and sending dangerous cluster munitions to Ukraine is United States escalation of war, which could ultimately lead to endangering the American people and our national security interests by dragging us into an unwanted war with nuclear armed Russia.

The United States role should be ending this war and negotiating peace NOT escalating another war in another foreign country at the expense and risk of the American people.

The Biden administration sending cluster munitions to Ukraine may be a war crime. These are dangerous weapons banned by Congress. It is an accelerated aggression that will kill many people. Shame on our leaders that are obsessed with funding and fueling war and death in foreign lands instead of actively negotiating peace. And soon, if Ukraine is accepted into NATO, will America too actively be at war with Russia? Will our own sons and daughters have to die in another senseless foreign war? Not with just any country, but with a nuclear armed nation. Is that what you all really want?

The American people do not want Washington’s war with Russia, they want Washington to focus on America and our own borders and our own problems. They want world peace like we once had under President Trump.
