This week, the House struck down my amendment to promote medical freedom and right the wrongs of COVID-era forced pilot terminations for refusing to take the experimental COVID vaccines.

We have a pilot shortage straining the aviation industry and my amendment sought to alleviate these stressors by rehiring experienced and qualified aviators who were fired only for refusing to have the COVID jab forced upon them.

This was a common sense amendment that should have received bipartisan support in the House, but it’s especially unfortunate that 83 Republicans voted against medical freedom and working to solve the pilot shortage effecting the aviation workforce and American travelers.
