I voted no to sending $14 billion to Israel because I believe the U.S. needs to stay out of foreign conflicts and focus on our own massively horrible problems and because I believe that U.S. funding of Israel’s war would open the door to the regime and its State Dept trying to control how Israel fights its enemies, which would be the worst thing possible for Israel.

The regime and its State Dept would drag out that war and ultimately involve American military eventually leading to a broader war in the Middle East and with Iran and likely more world powers.

This is what they wanted.

I also voted no to sending $14 billion to Israel knowing that Israel is an independent nuclear armed nation with a powerful military and decisive will to destroy their enemies. They are not weak and helpless, and history is already proving I was right. Israel is better off without taking the $14 billion Washington wanted to shove into their pockets with its dangerous grappling hooks and always deceptive strings attached.

While some members, like Tom McClintock, want to bloviate endlessly while imagining themselves wearing a powdered wig, the American people want action.

These members whine about “due process” while protecting Mayorkas from facing accountability for his violation of our border security laws.

Impeachment IS due process. It would put Mayorkas in front of the Senate to face trial.

We’ve seen the evidence of him breaking the law. It’s time for the Senate to try him for it.

I disagree with Speaker Johnson’s plan to fund Ukraine in exchange for border policy wins.

Democrats will never enforce our strong secure border policies, they would just use them as a win at the polls.
