Next week, Hunter Biden is coming into the Oversight Committee to be questioned in a deposition.

We fully plan on having a public hearing to follow, but the deposition is extremely important and the right way to conduct our investigation.

As a matter of fact depositions are so important that the Democrats used them constantly.

OUTRAGEOUS: Leadership is asking members of the NDAA “conference” to sign the 3000+ page conference report which is being released behind closed doors without even getting time to read it!

Speaker Johnson worked with Chuck Schumer to cut a deal that removes all abortion and trans surgery prohibitions we passed under Speaker McCarthy. It also would pass a CLEAN FISA extension.

Not to mention, more of your taxpayer dollars sent to Ukraine to fund the proxy war.

No member of the NDAA conference had any influence on this process. It was done in secret meetings with no input from conferees.

Now, we’re supposed to just grin and take it with no say in the final bill.

Is the GOP really going to fund abortion vacations and trans surgeries, fund the Ukraine war, all with a CLEAN FISA extension under Speaker Johnson?

This was a total sell-out of conservative principles and a huge win for Democrats.

FISA reauthorization is what we are being pressured on this week. It expires Dec 31st of course.

The original purpose of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA, allows the government to conduct targeted surveillance of foreign nationals living outside the U.S. without needing to obtain a warrant.

It was passed after 9/11 to stop terrorism, but the FISA court has been greatly abused by the FBI and DOJ and used against Americans instead of foreign nationals violating the 4th amendment.

Examples of FISA abuses and spying:

🚨 The FBI abused FISA to search for information in a U.S. database of foreign intelligence more than 278,000 times in 2020 and early 2021, including Americans involved in the Jan. 6 and BLM riots.

🚨 FBI employees wrongly searched foreign surveillance data for the last names of a U.S. senator and a state senator. FBI ran a query using the Social Security number of a state judge who complained about alleged civil rights violations by a municipal chief of police.

While we need the ability to stop terrorism in America, abusing FISA to target political enemies should never happen.
