🚨🚨🚨 Tuesday our Homeland Security Committee will be marking up and voting on the articles of impeachment for Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

This is happening because I forced a floor vote on my Mayorkas articles of impeachment back in November and Democrats and 8 Republicans voted to move my articles to our Homeland Security Committee giving us jurisdiction.

I am grieved by hearing the news that 3 American soldiers were killed and 25 more were injured in a drone attack on our troops in Jordan. This comes after the tragic loss of 2 Navy Seals. My prayers are with them and their families.

Today we are focused on remembering and honoring our fallen heroes, but tomorrow will come quickly and wise decisions must be made.

As a member of congress, I demand to know why our troops are in Jordan? What were our Navy Seals doing when they were killed? What AUMF is the DOD operating under? And many more questions.

A prospective war with Iran combined simultaneously while Texas, with the backing of 25 states, is at a stand off with the federal government at the border is unprecedented and dangerous.

America must recognize that the Biden Administration has allowed nearly 2 million got aways in our country under the guise of “helping migrants” through wide open border policies and willful breaking of federal immigration laws.

This Trojan horse has allowed an unknown number of terrorists in our country, on our homeland, and we have no idea where they are or what they are capable of.

The reckless foreign policy decisions of the Biden Administration combined with the woke leadership of the military has compromised the ability to recruit young Americans to join our forces as recruitment is at record low levels. Fighting a losing proxy war with Russia in Ukraine has drained our military resources on the heels of the embarrassing withdrawal from Afghanistan abandoning billions of dollars worth of American military assets and Bagram air base.

All of this has caused a tremendous loss of confidence at home and abroad in America’s current leadership and strategy.

I ask all God fearing Americans to pray for all of us in decision making roles and for God’s wisdom and willingness to follow it in the coming days ahead.
