🚨🚨🚨 Tuesday our Homeland Security Committee will be marking up and voting on the articles of impeachment for Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

This is happening because I forced a floor vote on my Mayorkas articles of impeachment back in November and Democrats and 8 Republicans voted to move my articles to our Homeland Security Committee giving us jurisdiction.

I am very proud of all the hard work by Republicans on Homeland and thankful to the leadership of our Chairman Mark Green. Everyone has worked tirelessly investigating every aspect of Biden’s border crisis and Secretary Mayorkas’s violation of his oath of office and his willful and systemic violations of federal immigration law.

This has truly been a team effort.

I want to report I am pleased with our collective effort shaping my articles of impeachment to our final version that we will be marking up and voting out of committee on Tuesday.

When Republicans work together, we can bring great results for the American people and accountability to those breaking the law.

Our national security crisis brought upon the American people by the Biden Administration should have never happened and can be fixed easily by passing and signing into law our GREAT border security bill HR2 with strong security measures like ending Catch and Release and brings back Remain in Mexico.

Joe Biden and the Democrats are lying to the country when they claim their Senate border deal will help the border crisis.

This border surrender deal will legalize 5,000/day illegal aliens entering our country, which is 1.8 million per year.

This is a jobs, amnesty, and voting scheme the Democrats are trying to get passed while sending another $60 billion American taxpayer funded check to Ukraine to defend their border and keep the daily invasion going into ours!

If Democrats really care about our border security, the integrity of our federal immigration laws, and the security of all Americans, they will vote with us to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas AND sign HR2 into law!!!

I am grieved by hearing the news that 3 American soldiers were killed and 25 more were injured in a drone attack on our troops in Jordan. This comes after the tragic loss of 2 Navy Seals. My prayers are with them and their families.

Today we are focused on remembering and honoring our fallen heroes, but tomorrow will come quickly and wise decisions must be made.

As a member of congress, I demand to know why our troops are in Jordan? What were our Navy Seals doing when they were killed? What AUMF is the DOD operating under? And many more questions.

A prospective war with Iran combined simultaneously while Texas, with the backing of 25 states, is at a stand off with the federal government at the border is unprecedented and dangerous.

America must recognize that the Biden Administration has allowed nearly 2 million got aways in our country under the guise of “helping migrants” through wide open border policies and willful breaking of federal immigration laws.

This Trojan horse has allowed an unknown number of terrorists in our country, on our homeland, and we have no idea where they are or what they are capable of.

The reckless foreign policy decisions of the Biden Administration combined with the woke leadership of the military has compromised the ability to recruit young Americans to join our forces as recruitment is at record low levels. Fighting a losing proxy war with Russia in Ukraine has drained our military resources on the heels of the embarrassing withdrawal from Afghanistan abandoning billions of dollars worth of American military assets and Bagram air base.

All of this has caused a tremendous loss of confidence at home and abroad in America’s current leadership and strategy.

I ask all God fearing Americans to pray for all of us in decision making roles and for God’s wisdom and willingness to follow it in the coming days ahead.

My prayers and deepest condolences are extended to the family members of the three service members from the Georgia Army Reserve unit stationed in Fort Moore, GA that were killed in Jordan by an Iranian-backed militia over the weekend.

Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, 46, of Carrollton, Georgia.; Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24, of Waycross, Georgia.; and Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah, Georgia.

Today, I ask for prayers for the fallen, their family, friends, and fellow service members still deployed abroad.

While these brave service members are gone, they will never be forgotten.

I introduced Articles of Impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas last year, and when two of my constituents were killed in Texas by a smuggler bringing illegals into our country, I pulled my Articles from Judiciary to force a floor vote to impeach Mayorkas.
