People are suffering from damage, but the community has come together to take care of each other in NW Georgia.

I’m so proud of all the volunteers and donors who have done so much to ease the pain caused by the flooding. There are true heroes in District 14.

At North Summerville Baptist Church where the water distribution center is set up for all affected by the flood.

People are bringing water, meals, and helping hands.

It was my honor to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Chattahoochee Technical College Aviation Academy, this morning.

The vocational training provided will allow students to start a career in aviation maintenance with opportunities to earn various credentials in the field through an FAA-certified program.

With job outlooks exceeding national averages over the next 10 years, I'm proud NW Georgia will be the source of such important education.
