My prayers go out to everyone in Southern California dealing with these raging fires, but I’m also angry it is even happening.

Governor Gavin Newsom failed so miserably in water and land management, and now the State of Canada is sending firefighting planes to bail him out.

And while Los Angeles is burning in the Pacific Palisades fire due to horrific Democrat mismanagement, Joe Biden is set to announce half a billion dollars in additional aid to Ukraine.

Putting America Last constantly in her time of need, just like the Biden Administration did in Western North Carolina, East Palestine, and Lahaina, is exactly why Democrats were crushed in the November election.

Thank God President Trump won, but he has a big mess to clean up.

I don’t think Californians will be putting up with Democrat “leadership” much longer.

Immediately following President Trump’s announcement, I directed my staff to get the bill drafted. I submitted the bill this afternoon with 14 original cosponsors.

My bill directs the Chairman of the Board on Geographic Names under the Secretary of the Interior to rename all federal documents and maps within 180 days of being signed into law.

Congress has to take the Trump Agenda mandate seriously and that means acting fast to enact it.

This is a piece of Day 1 legislation that can easily be awaiting President Trump’s signature the moment he takes his oath of office.

I urge my colleagues to join me to quickly pass this bill.

California is suffering immense loss and there is absolute failure on every level to prevent, protect, and help these poor people affected by these fires.

It appears they have been likely started by arsonists, terrorists, but what is their cause?

But look at where we are as a country.

Whether it’s CA, WNC, East Palestine, Lahaina, or the next American community that falls victim to a catastrophic event our government has led us to the brink of failure by putting America last for decades.

Our Gov funds every foreign war, foreign cause, and foreign aid yet made policies that left our border wide open, weakened our military, let our infrastructure crumble, and fails our people when they are in desperate need during desperate times.

Where are all the foreign countries sending aid to help Americans in our time of need???

This Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee will hear from former Social Security Administration Commissioner Martin O’Malley.

I’ll be asking O’Malley why he worked so hard to intentionally undermine the incoming Trump Administration during his final days as Commissioner.

Before submitting his resignation, O’Malley locked in his agency’s telework policies through 2029.

This action was clearly designed to tie the hands of President Trump’s incoming administration, preventing them from getting federal employees back into the office to serve the American people—the very people who pay their salaries.

If employees in the private sector were absent from work this much, they’d be fired.

O’Malley could have allowed President Trump’s incoming administration to renegotiate union contracts—a more appropriate course of action given the election results. Instead, he chose to sabotage the transition on behalf of the Democrats.

There will be accountability for these actions!
