Congratulations to Scott Turner, our newly confirmed U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development!

In 2019, while serving as the Executive Director of the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council, Scott visited Tamaqua at my invitation for a roundtable discussion about President Trump’s Opportunity Zone initiative. He mentioned this productive visit during his Senate confirmation hearing.
